José Luis Guillén

José Luis Guillén Ramírez is a serial entrepreneur and social disruptor shaping the vision of a decentralized future. He believes in horizontal governance and inclusive economic systems powered by blockchain. In 2014, he founded the Central American Association of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Users (ACUCRIP) one of the region’s earliest movements advocating for digital and financial inclusion.

Later, in 2017, he launched Coincaex, a company dedicated to bringing financial inclusion to every corner of Central America. As Founder and CEO of Nostrum Capital, José Luis leads a mission to democratize investment access across Latin America through tokenization of real-world assets — building the foundation for a dynamic and accessible regional capital market. He is also behind Equilibrium, a blockchain-based initiative focused on climate action and land access in developing countries. His philosophy is rooted in a powerful idea: “No first-world nation is built without a dynamic and accessible capital market.” Driven by this belief, José Luis promotes projects that unite technology, energy, and automation to create sustainable development, convinced that Latin America needs not more speeches, but smart capital, solid principles, and modern tools to unlock its true potential.
